We
were there to promote seaweed / sea vegetables and how easy
it is to use them. We were
asked by our local Famous Chef Jenny Bristow to provide some
seaweed for her to cook with, in
her Masterclass. She came up with some excellent ideas and cooked
with Carrageen / Irish Moss,
making
an Irish Mist Carrageen Dessert. The recipe is on her website
www.jennybristow.com
and
is in her NEWSLETTER section http://www.jennybristow.com/newsletter/2007/summer/default.asp#maritime
or
in the recipe section
on
our website www.dolphinseaveg.com
.
We
will be attending other shows with Northern Ireland Seafood
promoting the produce of
the
sea. These will in the months of August / September and around
the fishing ports of
Northern
Ireland Portavogie, Ardglass, Kilkeel, and Annalong.

Postal Strike how it is
affecting you and us.
The
UK Post Office / Royal Mail are currently in negiotiations with
their unions and are
threatening
further strike action. We are keeping a close eye on things,
but are
continuing
to use Royal Mail. At the moment there is a slight delay in
delivery times
as strike action is being
kept localised and sporadic.
If
things escalate, we will then look at using another service
for our deliveries.
